Tri-Resin Powder coat protection against all weathers |
General information on powder coating |
Although powder coating has been commercially available since the '60s, it is still misunderstood.
For those who are not familiar with the process, it looks like ‘ordinary’ paint, but it is tougher and more weather resistant.
Any material will accept a powdercoat that is electrically conductive and will with stand 220 degrees Celsius. Below are typical metals in their various forms powder coated by Windridge Coatings.
|
Aluminium, this includes aluminium sheet, aluminium panels, aluminium extrusions, or aluminium fabrications.
Mild steel, this includes structural steel, steel panels, steel sheets, light and heavy fabrications.
Zinc coated steel, this includes zintec sheets, zinc plated,
galvanised steel, hot dip galvanising, zinc galvanising, and zinc galvanizing, this is sometimes referred to as Duplex Coating.
For those who are familiar with the process, but are concerned about repairing scratches, it can be repaired on site with the correct type of paint.
