Protecting the inside of a bike frame.
Traversing through streams and cutting through flooded tracks, is what XC and Mountain bikes are for, but sometimes water can work it way past the bearings and though the vent holes into the frame.

Protecting the inside of the frame. |
Once the water is in the frame it will take a long time to completely dry out, and whilst damp corrosion will start to weaken the frame from the inside out. You will never know about it until it is too late. We have had frames that are structurally dangerous and beyond viable repair.
For £3.50 we can spray a coat of anti corrosion wax sealant in the open end of the tubes protecting your frame from within. |
