| Windridge Coatings can remove old powder coatings and re-powder coat. Three methods of stripping paint are available.  Incineration. We have an incinerator, otherwise known as a controlled pyrolysis oven. This is a monitored high temperature oven which turns powder coatings into ash. The heat is controlled, making distortion rarely an issue.Solvent stripping. This will gently remove powder coatings, ideal for wheels.Alkali stripping. Ideal for removing house old thick paints.After the paint is removed, the components are grit blasted and pre-treated as new metal. |
